OklahomaSkies.Net is a privately owned website intended to provide the public with insight and in-depth information on high profile weather events in and around our viewing area. The views expressed in the blogs and other informative areas are highly of the author his/herself and not necessarily the public or the national weather service. We do a lot of forecasting and terminology on our own on our website and have proven to be a reliable source.

In addition to our forecasts, and informative/collaborative areas, we also provide an established weather community to our users. As a consequence, users are required to abide by our policies and terms of service at all times. Failure to do so will result in administrative action to the administrators discretion.

This website is a non-profit organization and membership is free. The only areas that would be discerned would be the store where purchase is necessary for our products. 

When signing up to our website it is important that you enter a VALID e-mail address. E-mail addresses are NOT distributed and are kept private. We highly value or user's privacy and we have no intent to ask for personal information of any kind. You may enter as much or as little information on your profiles as you like, however you must fill out the required information in order to complete your membership requests. When your e-mail address is confirmed you are taken to your profile to complete information. You may skip certain steps but it is recommended that you complete the profile part. There have been many cases where users sign up and have incomplete profiles. Our policy gives users with incomplete profiles one week to complete them or we delete them from our records. This is to insure that spammers are kept away from our website and to limit the amount of inactive users on our community. Copyrights must be respected at ALL TIMES on our website. We do not allow our users to upload, borrow, or in any case take other peoples work and claim as their own. ALL images, graphics, and material on this website is copyright OklahomaSkies.Net unless otherwise stated. Should users abuse this policy and commit plagiarism or infringe upon this policy legal action may and will be warranted.

We are by no means affiliated with any website at this time, we also do not accept affiliation requests at this time. Soliciting and advertising without our consent is prohibited.

Interactive areas on our website ARE monitored by our team of moderators. We discourage inappropriate discussion on our website and prohibit offensive/inappropriate material on our website. Material found of this nature will be deleted and the appropriate authorities contacted. Please respect other people's rights to freedom of speech, but do not engage in conflict or abusive language in any part of our website. Spam, posts containing offensive language, soliciting, and inappropriate material will be deleted without warning. We do record IP addresses on this website for future use.

Browser support: Our website is BEST viewed in Firefox or Google Chrome. IE7+ is supported but we do not support older versions. Site experience DOES vary between Firefox and Internet Explorer and it is recommended that you download Firefox or Google Chrome for a better experience.
