For the second time in over a year Oklahoma deals with another immobilizing and record breaking blizzard! You may recall the Christmas Eve Blizzard from 2009 that shut down the state during the holidays. This storm rivaled its predecessor with 1-2 FEET of snow falling from Oklahoma City through Tulsa. Winds gusted over 50mph at times creating considerable blowing and drifting of the snow and white out conditions which are depicted in this video. In addition too EXTREME cold brought record low wind chills to parts of the state with a record -36F wind chill recorded at a mesonet station in Boise city, Oklahoma!
